London, ON - June 23, 2016 - StarTech.com, a London Ontario based, global manufacturer of IT connectivity parts, announces a grand opening event to celebrate the completion of the largest expansion of its corporate office in company history. The Grand Opening will take place on the evening on June 28th and will include words by StarTech.com President & CEO Paul Seed and a representative from the City of London as well as a “Cable Connecting Ceremony" to commemorate the occasion.

The expansion of StarTech.com’s corporate office became necessary to accommodate the rapid growth of its workforce which has more than doubled over the last five years, growing to approximately 400 employees worldwide including 300 in London, resulting in the creation for many new jobs for the local economy. The building expansion provides workspace for 100 additional employees and room for an additional 80 employees as the company continues to grow.

The building expansion features include 33,000 square feet of new workspace, 13 new meeting rooms, a new LED energy efficient lighting system with increased natural lighting and a spacious café with patio for use by employees. A key feature of the building expansion is a new, state of the art “Innovation Lab" that provides facilities for the development and testing of cutting-edge IT connectivity products.

The Grand Opening event will include invited StarTech.com partners, customers, media and local dignitaries. Refreshments, music and tours will also be provided at the event.
