United Way
StarTech.com has been a leading supporter of United Way since 2008, holding annual fund-raising campaigns to help them achieve their mission “to empower everyone to improve lives and build strong communities.” In 2024 we reached a milestone of $4.5 million in cumulative donations to United Way Elgin Middlesex, including $2 million in employee donations and $2.5 million in personal donations from StarTech.com Founder, Paul Seed.

StarTech.com YMCA
YMCA of Southwestern Ontario is a multi-service charity that provides opportunities for growth in spirit, mind, and body for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities. In 2022, StarTech.com announced a $1.5M sponsorship of the YMCA to rename the community recreation facility on Southdale Road West in London, ON, to StarTech.com Community Centre, YMCA, & Library. The facility surpassed 6,000 members in 2023 with 54% receiving financial assistance.

Paul Seed Fund: London Community Foundation
The Paul Seed Fund was established by London Community Foundation in 2024 through a $2.5 million donation from StarTech.com Founder Paul Seed. The Fund was created to increase involvement in a wide range of artistic disciplines in London and ensure that local artists have the opportunity to succeed and thrive in our community.

StarTech.com Centre for Customer Centricity: Schulich School of Business
Since its founding in 1985, much of StarTech.com’s success stems from understanding the unique needs of its customers and delivering value to make their jobs easier. To help other businesses become successful organizations, StarTech.com partnered with Schulich School of Business to create The Centre for Customer Centricity. The program involves 30 MBA students each year, from campuses in Toronto, ON and Hyderabad, India who provide consulting for partner companies on a customer centricity focused project.
