How do I disable Windows Firewall?

To disable Windows Firewall, complete the following:

Windows 8 and 10

1. Right-click on the Windows icon in the bottom left of the screen.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Click System and Security.
4. Click Windows Firewall.
5. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
6. Select Turn off Windows Firewall.
7. Click OK.

Windows 7

1. Click Start.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Click System and Security.
4. Click Windows Firewall.
5. Click Turn Windows Firewall on or off.
6. Select Turn off Windows Firewall 
7. Click OK.
